To my clients and friends:
I'm writing this on New Year's Eve at a time when we all
look forward to future happiness. I hope this has
been a great holiday for all of you.
As most of you remember, I had to
unexpectedly close my studio just over two years ago when
the building I had purchased with a friend fell out of
escrow. It was a very frustrating time for me.
While I have seen a lot of you, many of you have probably
thought that I had disappeared. Nothing could have
been further from reality. It has been a very busy
twenty-eight months for me.
I spent a good part of it building and
developing a successful website business. I have
been more active with my camera than I've been in years.
I have shot well over 350,000 photos. I have also
built up my commercial clientele, shooting on average,
about twenty models per month for just one client.
Quietly though, I have been working in
the background to come up with the next generation of So.
Cal. Pro. Models. Well that day is here. On
January 19th, we'll be having an open house for our new
studio. We've teamed up with Miyakawa Photography to
put together a great new facility right in Los Angeles.
While the building is older, its location will make it
central to many more of our clients. We'll be
opening a separate office later this spring.
Next, the Glamour Bash is going to be
back in full swing for 2008. Roger is very
enthusiastic about it. The plan is to hold a single
event in January and February, after which we will move to
twice a month. We're now hiring and paying outside
models so we have expanded beyond working with just our
own talent. More importantly, we are making a point
of bringing in the best talent from around the country.
We've held a number of events this year and they have all
been successful. With our new site,
www.groupphotoshoots.com, we have something great to
offer. We think you'll enjoy it.
Finally, by February, the So. Cal. Pro.
Models site you have come to know is going to be replaced
by something totally new. We've spent well over six
months developing an entirely new site called
www.entertainmentindustry411.com or simply
ei411.com.
ei411 is an entirely new concept. Take a moment to
read about it.
2008 is going to be an exciting year.
It will be exciting for me and I hope it will be exciting
for you as well. We'll see you at the new studio.
